Injuries have not been kind to the #43 of RPM. Two weeks before Daytona, Gas Man Justin Reisman tore his Achilles and now they have another injury.
Over the Easter weekend, tire carrier Devon Armstrong tore his distal bicep tendon and will be out at least until the middle of the season.
“I was at the gym that I work out at. I was hitting the punching bag when I heard it pop. I knew instantly that something wasn’t right. Because it was Easter weekend there were no doctors that I could see so I had to wait until Monday to get it looked at.
An MRI on Tuesday proved that Devon had tore his tendon and he went into surgery last Thursday.
“The doctor says I’ll be out at least 12 weeks but depending on how well rehab goes will ultimately determine how long I’m out.”
Taking Devon’s place will be tire carrier Josh Galloway.
Good luck to Devon in his recovery and we wish him well.
